This movie was nominated for 5 Oscars including Best Actor for Johnny Depp. The story follows the adventures living the blacksmith Will Turner and the eccentric Captain Jack Sparrow to rescue Elizabeth Swann, daughter of the governor of Port Royal, who has been kidnapped by the crew damn pirate ship Black Pearl, captained by Hector Barbossa

 The story is set in San Vicente y las Granadinas and sets built in Los Angeles, California between October 2002 until March 2003

  The Actors

Captain Jack Sparrow: (Johnny Depp) eccentric pirate known for his wobbly gait, speech and whisper almost continuous hand gestures. Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) a blacksmith's apprentice working in Port Royal and is in love with Elizabeth Swann, The success of the trilogy of The Lord of the Rings and Black Hawk Down transformed Bloom from an unknown actor into one of the best known celebrities around the world. In 2002 he was elected to Teen People in "The Sexiest Stars under 25" and was named by People as the single most beautiful in the 2004 list

 Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) daughter of Governor Weatherby Swann, Elizabeth loves the world of piracy as a child. During the attack of the Black Pearl to Port Royal, said that his last name is Turner and is mistaken for the daughter of "Bootstrap" Bill.

She was released thanks to his co-starring role in British social comedy Bend It Like Beckham in 2002.
